Meet BEAR: the dog who survived a bear attack and lived to bark about it…
BEAR was surrendered to us along with his siblings: Winnie and Axel during our recent Manitoba mission.
We were told that BEAR had recently been attacked by a bear (hence the name). We carefully examined him to ensure he was healthy enough to make the long trek back to Toronto. This little survivor was extremely lucky, he escaped his bear attack with only a wound on his cheek which has healed perfectly.
Bear is approx 4-5 months, he is a loving and very affectionate little guy who is still working on his potty training skills. He will need an active family who is dedicated to continuing his puppy training and house breaking. BEAR will grow up to be a medium size dog. He can be shy around new dogs and takes his time to warm up in new situations. He has not been cat tested at this time.
